Extradural hematoma in pediatric patients in a small city of Brazil

Extradural hematoma (EDH) is a bleeding into the space between the dura mater and the inner surface of the skull. Although less frequent compared to the adult population, EDH represents a significant challenge for diagnosis and management in the pediatric group. This study sought to analyze childhood EDH cases and their outcomes in this population.
